If you can’t find fresh seafood in Port Charlotte, a quick trip across the harbor (about eight minutes) will land you at the front door of the Laishley Crab House in Punta Gorda, FL. Delight in waterfront dining at its finest—this is the freshest seafood available on Charlotte Harbor and perhaps in all of Florida. Sweet tasting blue crab is harvested right out of the harbor, and the Alaskan king and snow crabs are shipped daily from Dutch Harbor, AK.
